Phillip Schofield, who presented This Morning for over 20 years, is reportedly finding it hard to watch his former co-host Holly Willoughby move on.

He spent 14 of those years presenting alongside Holly, but left the show after news broke of an 'unwise but not illegal affair' with a junior colleague. Holly also left the ITV show following a kidnap threat and has now returned to TV to co-host Dancing on Ice with Stephen Mulhern.

A source told Woman's Own that Phil finds it "triggering" to watch the show and hasn't been in contact with Holly since offering support over the kidnap threat. Dancing on Ice recently returned for its 16th series, with Stephen Mulhern taking over from Phil - a role he had held since 2006.

Phil has been a constant on Dancing on Ice since it started in 2006, with Holly joining him for most of the time. She only took a break when she was on maternity leave and Christine Bleakley filled in for her. The pair also hosted This Morning together for fourteen years, becoming one of telly's favourite duos.

However, things changed after Phil's affair with a junior colleague came to light. Holly was as shocked as everyone else. Now, Holly's new career move might be tough for Phil. She shares a long history with Stephen, 46, as they've known each other for years and even presented Ministry of Mayhem together in the mid-2000s.
