Courtney Love offered $50k to take lie detector over Kurt Cobain's death
Courtney Love has been offered $50k to take a lie detector over Kurt Cobain’s death.
The big money deal has been put on the table to get to the bottom of the Nirvana rocker's death. Courtney has been asked to take a filmed test to clear her name and prove she was not involved in his death.
Best selling author Ian Halperin is putting the offer on the table after after Cobain's purported autopsy was leaked online two weeks ago. Ian told The U.S Sun: “I want to update my offer. If Courtney agrees to take the test and passes, she gets her choice.

"I'll either take out that billboard in Times Square or a person, who is in the long time music industry executive, has offered to give her $50,000 cash if she passes. I am keen to find the truth."

Love has always strenuously denied any suggestions of being involved in Cobain's death.
Cobain was found dead aged 27 at his home in the Lake Washington neighborhood of Seattle on April 8, 1994. The singer was holding the shotgun which had killed him, with the coroner and the Seattle Police Department declaring the death a suicide.
Yet Halperin claims he has a 'convincing argument' Cobain did not kill himself.
In his new book, Case Closed: The Cobain Murder: The Killing And Cover Up of Kurt Cobain, Halperin has probed into the musician's suicide since the mid 90s. Halperin claims he has evidence Kurt was murdered but he doesn't accuse anyone including his widow Courtney.
However, the author thinks a lie detector test would help clear up Love's name after years of speculation with die-hard Nirvana fans who have questioned the death.
