Adele Roberts shares gift Claire Sweeney left in Dancing on Ice dressing room
Adele Roberts has proudly showed off a gift she received from outgoing Dancing On Ice star Claire Sweeney - while also praising their blossoming friendship.
The 44-year-old presenter and radio host is one of the twelve celebrities taking part in the 2024 season of ITV’s winter sport reality show - where she is paired with 38-year-old professional figure skater Mark Hanretty. Adele and Mark are still in the contest, but on Sunday night, 52-year-old Claire and her skating partner Colin Grafton, 32, were voted off the show.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Monday, Adele revealed that Claire had left her a gift in her Dancing On Ice dressing room. She also waxed lyrical about how much she had loved getting close to Claire in recent months as the pair have rehearsed and competed on the ice skating show.
Making a behind-the-scenes video, Adele welcomed her followers into her dressing room and revealed Claire had let her a pair of sparkling leg warmers. Sounding delighted about the surprise, Adele proudly showed off the clothing to her fans - and revealed it was the former Brookside star that had gifted them to her.

Lucky leg warmers!” Adele went on to explain Claire is feeling upbeat despite becoming the third celebrity to be voted off the ITV show.

She said: “I just saw her on her way out and she’s looking beautiful as ever and still smiling and I’m really going to miss Claire but I’m so glad I got to meet her through this competition. Claire, you know how much you mean to me. Thank you for all that you’ve done for me and all the help and support that you’ve given me and I can’t wait to see you properly again.”
It was not the only new item Adele was proudly showing off in her dressing room. She had also received some knee support leggings - which she sounded excited to test out and reduce the injuries she has sustained on the ice.

Knee support leggings.” Adele also proudly showed off a Dry Robe that she had been gifted which she informed followers was useful “for when you get wet things like my pyjamas, they go in there!”
Returning her attention to the leggings, she added: “I’m going to wear these at training today. Knee support leggings. My knees are absolutely battered from falling over.”
After being voted off the show, Claire shared a clip of herself hugging Colin backstage at the Dancing On Ice studio. She gushed: “I’ve absolutely loved it. I’ve loved it. And Colin has just been so kind, so amazing, so patient and so brilliant.” Looking emotional, Colin congratulated Claire for her efforts on the ice and said: “You’ve done so well.”
