Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce could not join her at the Grammy Awards last night but made sure to show his support from miles away.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, travelled to Las Vegas, Nevada, with his team on Sunday as they prepare for the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers this weekend. Due team's strict schedule for the highly anticipated game, Kelce had no time to travel with his girlfriend on the record-making night, a source said.

But despite not being at the award event in person, the Super Bowl champion made sure to keep up-to-date with what was happening. He also showed his support for his famous girlfriend on social media by liking a post by NPR featuring Taylor on the red carpet.

At the awards ceremony, Taylor made history as she became the first artist to win the Grammy Award for Best Album for a fourth time. The Shake It Off hitmaker, 34, took home the prize last night for her album Midnights, having previously won for Fearless (2010), 1989 (2016) and Folklore (2021).

As she accepted the award, Taylor called her team to come to her side, before thanking everyone who made the album a success. "I would love to say this is the happiest moment of my life... but I feel this happy when I finish a song... For me the reward is the work... All I want to do is keep doing this, so thanks so much for giving me the opportunity. Mind blown," she said.

Taylor was presented with the Best Album award by Celine Dion, who made a rare appeared at the ceremony amid her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome. Celine announced she was suffering from a rare neurological disorder in 2022 and was forced to cancel a number of tour dates.

Taylor also delighted fans as she announced a brand new album, something she's been keeping secret for two years. "I know the way Recording Academy voted is the direct reflection of the passion of the fans, so I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I've been keeping from you for the past two years which is that my brand new album comes out April 19. It's called the Tortured Poets Department," she said.

The Grammys were also a great evening for Miley Cyrus, who took home her first-ever win. The 31-year-old won Best Pop Solo Performance for her song Flowers. The song, from her 2023 album Endless Summer Vacation, beat the likes of Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift. Before last night's ceremony, Miley had eight Grammy nominations total to her name, but no wins.

She was presented the award by Mariah Carey. In her acceptance speech, Miley said: "This M.C. is gonna stand by this M.C. for this because this is just too iconic. "Oh my god, I just got stuck in the rain in traffic and thought I was going to miss this moment. I could miss the award but I can’t miss Mariah Carey." She then returned to the stage to perform Flowers for only the third time ever.
