Miley Cyrus leaves dad out of Grammys speech amid 'estrangement' from Billy Ray
Miley Cyrus has fuelled rumours of a feud with her father Billy Ray Cyrus after failing to mention him in her Grammys acceptance speech.
The chart-topping star had an epic night at the prestigious music industry bash after she picked up her first ever Grammy at the ceremony. She took home the trophy in both the coveted Record Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance both for her hit 2023 anthem Flowers.
But, while she reeled off a list of thank-you's in her acceptance speech at the Crypto.Com Arena in Los Angeles there was notably one or two omissions. Miley - who also took aim at ex-husband Liam Hemsworth on the night - was heard name checking her mother, Tish, among other close friends and relations, but her dad was snubbed from the list.

The pair appear to have even unfollowed each other on Instagram and in 2023 he married musician Firerose, who is 27 years his junior, appearing to exacerbate the situation.

Miley is also thought to no longer be on speaking terms with her younger sister Noah, 24, and brother Braison, 29, both of whom were also missing from the speech. Accepting the award she said: "This award is amazing. But I really hope that it doesn’t change anything because my life was beautiful yesterday. Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular...
"So please don’t think that this is important, even though it’s very important, right guys? '[I want to thank] everyone that’s standing on this stage right now Tom, Tyler, Michael and Greg... Our teams, my team, Crush, Columbia, my mommy, my sister, my love, my main gays because look how good I look...

But I might have forgotten underwear. Bye!" Fans then took to social media to point out her snub for her dad. One wrote: "Miley and her dad are defo beefing!"
Another added: "Notice Miley ain't thank her siblings or dad! I know that's right baby!" A third commented: "Miley thanking everyone in her family by name except her dad and then saying 'I don't think I've forgotten anyone' is iconic I'm sorry." Another social media user posted: "Nope it's bc of Miley's dad and his 20 yr old wife lmao. Miley doesn't rock w/ him at all anymore and is closer to her mom now."
