Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are working their socks off for their family and have admitted they plan to "suck it up".

The couple, who have three young children together and three from previous relationships, are juggling a busy work schedule with parenting. Stacey - who hosts the popular BBC show Sort Your Life Out and is a regular on Loose Women - and Joe recently revealed what keeps them going in a frank chat. Stacey said they plan to "suck it up" for their kids' sake.

"This is the time of life where you power through every single second of each waking day if you want to make the most of it and you want to get everything you can out of it," she shared. "You've just got to suck it up. It's going to be hard and you're going to be very tired."

The couple share Rex, four, Rose, two, and Belle, one. Stacey also has sons Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, from previous relationships, while Joe has a son, Harry, from his relationship with Emma Sophocleous. According to Stacey, it's their six children that keep them motivated. Speaking on The Energy Equation podcast, she went on: "We are working as hard as we can to try and make sure we fulfil our goals for our children's futures. It's that point in life where you just have to go, go, go."

Stacey, who became a mum at 17, has always been humble about her upbringing in Dagenham, east London. She was raised by her dad David, a photographer, and her nurse mum, Fiona. In 2021, she and Joe bought their beautiful £1.2 million Pickle Cottage in Essex. Stacey confessed that she couldn't believe how far she'd come, as owning a home seemed "impossible" to her as a child.

"Me and Joe, sometimes when we're in our house, we just can't believe it's actually real," she shared. Earlier this year, Stacey admitted she'd lost some confidence recently and promised to approach 2024 differently. "I'd say over the last few years I've been a bit of a mug in some ways. I've turned down opportunities or taken certain paths because people who I thought mattered have wanted it. And it made them happy."

"But I've realised the only people who matter are the ones who want to lift you up, support every crazy idea you have, and fill you with confidence and love. Those are the people to keep close. Let the rest go."

Over the weekend, Stacey and Joe celebrated Belle's first birthday with a homemade cake. Stacey was left in tears as Joe filmed her putting the finishing touches on the impressive cake. He told her: “There you go. One years old. Well done, mum. We can’t have any more kids. I can’t tell people I’ve got seven kids!” Stacey then wrote in an Instagram Stories post: “Feeling a bit emotional. I always make the kids first birthday cake. And knowing this might be my last child’s first birthday cake is actually making me cry. I started yesterday and I’m just finishing off today. I actually don’t want it to end.”
