Shaquille O'Neal has cheeky Taylor Swift request ahead of Super Bowl LVIII
NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal has playfully asked pop megastar Taylor Swift to let him sit next to her at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas next weekend.
Swift is set to swiftly leave Japan’s capital city of Tokyo after her Eras Tour performance on February 10 to make it to Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium for Super Bowl LVIII on February 11. The 'Shake it Off' singer became one of the NFL’s biggest talking points this season when her relationship with Kelce went public.
The first Chiefs game she attended was back in Week 3 when they recorded a 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift has attended 12 games in total this season and the reigning Super Bowl champions have won nine of them. She will be hoping to see Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs win one more time as they aim to successfully defend the title when they take on the San Francisco 49ers.

Someone who hopes to be watching the action alongside Swift is O’Neal, who told TMZ how he wants to enjoy the NFL’s biggest game. “I’m hoping I’m in the suite next to Taylor Swift,” the four-time NBA champion said. “Hey Taylor, love you.” When asked who he thinks will win the game, O’Neal added: “I’ll have to go with the Chiefs and my boy Travis Kelce.”
Back in October, the 15-time NBA All-Star commented on the Kelce and Swift relationship and told Mirror US Online that the tight end had not told him about his relationship with Swift. “Travis is a friend of mine, so he hasn’t told me that they are dating," he said. "But we all see what seems to be like they are dating. If they are dating I wish them well. And they’re both great people and I’m happy for [them].”
Whether he is able to sit next to Swift at the Super Bowl or not, O’Neal will be in attendance as he prepares to host 'Shaq’s Fun House' for the sixth straight year. The 2024 edition will take place at Wynn Las Vegas’ XS nightclub on February 9. There will be events, games, activations, giveaways and live performances by Lil Wayne , Diplo, and O’Neal’s deejay alter-ego, DJ DIESEL.

Speaking of nightclubs, Swift and Kelce received a $1 million offer from Larry Flynt's Hustler Club in Las Vegas to celebrate there should the Chiefs emerge victorious at the Super Bowl. They have been offered a Topless Touchdown Celebratory Package, according to TMZ, which includes unlimited access to the $10K per hour Mohney Suite and an Ace of Spades champagne bottle parade.
Swift and Kelce are not expected to take up the offer.
