Danny Cipriani forms 'close bond' with yoga teacher during pilgrimage to India
Danny Cipriani's pals are concerned after he was seen looking close to a glamorous brunette he met on a spiritual journey to India - just weeks after splitting from his wife.
The 36-year-old, who announced his retirement from professional rugby last week, was pictured looking cosy with a French-born yoga teacher who calls herself Eve Kundalini at a restaurant in Ooty, 1,200km south of Mumbai. Kundalini is a type of meditation linked to awakening inner serpent energy, and tantric sex.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: "Danny's on a spiritual journey. He admires Eve and how in touch she is with Mother Earth. But some of his friends are concerned about how drastically his life has changed. One minute he was with his wife in Kent and looked like he had settled down. Then the next minute he is in the hills of India with a group of people he hasn't been that close to before."

The French-born yogi previously taught at a top London hotel (Instagram)Eve, whose real surname is Latil, has previously taught yoga at the five-star Blakes Hotel in Chelsea, West London, and is friends with Jessica Lemarie-Pires, the wife of former Arsenal star Robert Pires.
Danny and his wife Victoria - who is a grandmother - split in November 2023 after two years of marriage. The former couple didn't have children together, however, Victoria, 42, is a mum to two kids, and had her first child, Jade, when she was 14.

At the time he said in a statement: "Victoria and I sat together this weekend and agreed to separate after 4 years of marriage. Whilst we've had some wonderful times together, we've also recognised we're on different journey's and whilst this is sad news, it's also a new chapter for us both to pursue our own happiness. I only wish the best for Victoria and her children. "

She was the latest in a long, long line of women linked to the legendary love rat.
In September 2023, he told The Sun on Sunday that he never saw himself as a sex addict - until now. He said: “I was once a guy that had sex with so many women, I was pushing the boundary, and I was trying to find a way to have sex with this person and that person, threesomes and whatever, whatever. But none of that stemmed from a place of love.
"Even though on the outside it looks like I’m having a great time with all these women, deep down I’m constantly letting people down. Constantly hurting people. Constantly hurting myself because I’m acting from a place of pain.”
