Gladiators host Barney Walsh's glam girlfriend: how they met and rare photos
Bradley Walsh and his son Barney Walsh are the hosts of BBC's new Gladiators series, and it was through work that the latter met his glamorous girlfriend.
ITV viewers will be a fan of Bradley and Barney's on-screen chemistry after the success of their hit travel show Bradley and Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad and Gladiators fans have also fallen in love with their top notch banter on the Beebs popular reboot.
Although Gladiators sees 26-year-old Barney host alongside his dad for the first time, he has plenty of presenting experience under his belt. Barney has several acting appearances to his name including as a young Arthur in the Guy Ritchie film King Arthur: Legend of The Sword, while also starring in The Larkins alongside his father and as a guest star in BBC's Death of Paradise.
What's more, the star has also worked as an ambassador and presenter of the Miss World pageant since October 2017 - which is how he met his girlfriend Stephanie Del Valle Diaz, a Puerto Rican musician and model who was crowned Miss World in 2016.

Stephanie has travelled all around the globe after winning Miss World (Instagram)Barney is thought to have met the 26-year-old Puerto Rican beauty, who won the Miss World competition in 2016, while hosting the 2017 Miss World pageant edition. "The couple started out as mates," a source told The Sun last year. "They're now very loved-up. They get on really well and know they’re both young in their careers so give each other space to pursue their dreams. This is set to be a big year for them." Fans deduced the duo had gone "Insta-official" when Stephanie shared a romantic and rare sunset snap of herself posing alongside Barney in 2022.

Stephanie became the second woman from Puerto Rico to win the Miss World contest and before that won Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico in 2016. During the 2016 Miss World competition, Stephanie was asked what she would change about the world before winning the crown.
She replied: "If I have the opportunity to change something about the world, I think what I would do is send a message of how important it is to change exclusion for acceptance, to promote and provide justice for others, and the importance of helping those in need. Thank you." But it's not just about beauty as Stephanie studied Law and Communication at Pace University in New York City and can speak three different languages - English, Spanish and French.

The happy couple were pictured alongside Barney's parents Bradley and Donna Derby. However, the couple haven't been pictured together recently, but as both stars keep their personal lives private on social media it's not clear whether they are keeping their relationship under wraps or whether they've parted ways.
Meanwhile, Gladiators viewers will be well aware of Barney's famous dad Bradley, who hosts The Chase and Blankety Blank amongst other shows, but his mum Donna's also has a showbiz past. Donna is a choreographer and former professional dancer who shot to fame in the late eighties when she was picked to star in Robert Palmer’s video for his 1988 hit Simply Irresistible.
She has also appeared as an actress and dancer in several TV shows, including The Kenny Everett Show and The Russ Abbot Show, and for two decades has worked as both a choreographer and judge for the Miss World beauty pageant.
Barney's reps declined to comment when approached by Mirror Online.
