Selena Gomez shares intimate snap with boyfriend after body positivity post
Selena Gomez has shared an intimate snap with new boyfriend Benny Blanco after winning praise for her empowering body positivity post last month.
The 31-year-old raised eyebrows when she went public with her romance with music producer Benny, 35, and took to social media to post a risque snap of them cuddling in bed. “Mornings with you,” Selena wrote atop the snap on her Instagram Story.
The racy snap showed her seemingly naked while swathed in fluffy bed sheets with her head on a pillow. She tagged Benny in the photo, hinting to fans that he was the one taking the intimate picture of them in bed.

Selena was recently praised for sharing an empowering post about her body (Getty Images)The Lose You to Love Me hitmaker began dating the music producer late last year, and went public with their relationship in a post on Instagram, Calling him the “best thing that ever happened to me”, fans were gobsmacked by the unlikely romance, but Selena insisted she was smitten with her new beau. “It's very hard to find someone who can listen to you and care about you, but I know when it happens it will be great and you will want it to be healthy,” she said in an interview.

They’ve since been to several red carpet events together, including the Golden Globes and the Emmy Awards, as well as a sweet date at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game earlier this month. Selena also revealed her happiness has had a huge positive impact on her body confidence, when the singer shared a candidly honest post on Instagram.
Uploading two bikini snaps of herself - one of her in her 20s back in 2013, and the other from last year - the Come & Get It hitmaker admitted she knew she wasn’t going to be that size again, and she was happy with it. “Today, I realized I will never look like this again...,” the Only Murders in the Building actress wrote. I'm not perfect but I am proud to be who I am... sometimes I forget it's ok to be me.”
The singer has been dating Benny since late last yearIn the first snap, she wore a zebra print bikini, while in the second picture, Selena is seen emerging from the sea wearing a gorgeous black and white one-piece. The singer has previously spoken about her changing body over the years, as she was diagnosed with Lupus which has affected how her body retains weight.
During a livestream on Twitter last year, Selena hit back at critics who commented on her weight, and said she shouldn’t be shamed for her changing appearance. “When I’m taking it, I tend to hold a lot of water weight, and that happens very normally. When I’m off of it, I tend to kind of lose weight,” she explained. “I just wanted to say and encourage anyone out there who feels any sort of shame for exactly what they’re going through and no one knows the real story.”
Selena clapped back at online trolls, and said she would “much rather be healthy and take care of myself” than change the way she looks to fit in. “My medications are important, and I believe that they’re what helps me,” she added.
