Amanda Holden sizzles in red hot lingerie ahead of Valentine's Day in racy shootHelen previously revealed she was "delighted" to be playing the "formidable" character. The actress was at the centre of exit rumours after it was reported her on-screen husband Matthew Aylward, played by Olly Rix, would be leaving the show.
In recent scenes, fans have been left in suspense over Trixie and Matthew's future as the couple settle into married life with a few problems. Speaking on The One Show, Helen addressed her character's marital woes, as she explained: "They've just got married and you think, 'Gosh, it's so happy, and he's very rich and she gets all these posh clothes, and it's great.' But then, you know, there's bumps along the way."
Helen admitted the scenes were "different" to film in comparison to her other storylines in the BBC drama. "But it's fun, as well," continued Helen.
"They're hard-hitting scenes, especially towards the end of the series, but it very much turns into a kind of kitchen sink drama by the end of it. The scenes that we filmed are so real, like any couple at home today. They're really great to play, really fun to play – different."
The actress refused to confirm whether she her future on the show was safe. She added: "You have to keep watching until the end of the series, and just see how the character evolves... and let's see what happens in the future. But I love the show dearly."
