The Apprentice winner Marnie Swindells has revealed the cast of the 2023 series are no longer speaking to each other.

Marnie impressed Lord Sugar during last years series and won his £250,000 investment to open her gym Bronx in south London. Despite living and working with the fellow contestants for 12 weeks, Marnie has admitted she is "saddened" that her co-stars haven't maintained a bond outside the show.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Marnie revealed: "We don't have as great of a bond as I think the previous year's candidates do, which really saddens me. I went into the process for the business purposes, but I was really hoping to come away with some camaraderie and some bond that would last forever because it's such a unique experience."

She added: "I'd hoped that we would have that sense of getting back together and reuniting, but it hasn't really happened in my year as much as it did for Kathryn Burn's year. I'm slightly sad about that." Marnie insisted there is "no bad blood" and puts it down to her co-stars being "very busy".

The businesswoman continued: "I think people have got their own lives a lot, three of them have gone on to have babies since we've finished filming, so I'm sure that's taken up a lot of their time. There's no bad blood whatsoever. It's just a case of not making the time to meet up which, like I said it, it saddens me.

"We went through this really arduous, intense, unique experience together, and I would have hoped it would be something we could have continued to share and get together and reminisce about for years to come." The candidates not only had to complete their tasks together, but also live in a shared London house.

Marnie told us that the stars of the show were not allowed to visit home during their time on The Apprentice. It meant they had to spend their entire time just with their co-stars. She admitted it made her have to trust her own judgement more as she was unable to contact her friends and family for advice or support.

Marnie also revealed she hasn't had any contact from Lord Sugar's aides Karren Brady or Tim Campbell. She told us: "I'm not in touch with Karren and Tim, which is a shame, because I know Tim is in the boxing world. I'm gonna get on Tim's case as to why he hasn't been down to the gym yet. Karen, I don't imagine will be coming any time soon." Marnie is using Lord Sugar's investment to expand her gym, and added: "I'm going to invite both Karen and Tim to the launch of the expansion, and would love to show them how far I've come."

Speaking about her future plans, Marnie admitted she would love to take Karren's job one day, but quipped: "I think I have a lot more about a lot more to learn in business before that's a possibility."
