Lana Del Rey fans predict which country stars could be on new album

Lana Del Rey will be adding a new genre to the mix.

Lana was performing a tribute to Jack Antonoff at the Billboard and NMPA Songwriter Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday when she announced that she will be working on a country album. She said: "If you can't already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country. We're going country. It's happening."

The name of the album will be called Lasso. Lana shared that she had been working on this album for four years with Jack throughout Muscle Shoals, Nashville and Mississippi. This will be Lana's tenth studio album.

Fans of the singer are wondering who will Lana feature in the new album. One user on X, formerly known as Twitter, believes Lana will have Dolly Parton, Nikki Lane, Morgan Wallen, Jon Batiste and Zella Day. The fan wrote: "Lana del Rey country album I’ve been waiting for days like this." Another person wrote: "Lana Del Rey’s country album is going to change the trajectory of my life, I’m gonna come out of it a whole new person, I already know it’s gonna have the same affect on me and my personality that Born To Die did and I can’t wait." Fans are excited for the album and really want to see what collaborations she has in store.

News of the album comes weeks after her SKIMS campaign. Kim Kardashian revealed that Lana was her latest celebrity brand ambassador for the company. Fans believe this was SKIMS' "best collab of all time." She was also seen working at a Waffle House in Alabama. She surprised diners by wearing the restaurants uniform, weeks before her Lollapalooza festival performance in August 2023.

Coachella recently announced that the Summertime Sadness star will be a headliner at this years festival. Lana will be headlining alongside Tyler the Creator and Doja Cat. Coachella 2024 will be April 12-14 and April 19-21. Tickets for the festival are available for purchase here. Coachella has hosted some class acts like Bad Bunny, Beyonce, Ariana Grade and Prince. The festival started in 1999 and become notable for featuring a wide range of artists in an effort to appeal to a larger base of fans. The festival can hold up to 125,000 people daily on the grounds and usually has around 200,000 guests in attendance yearly.
