Traitors star Wilf invites wannabe faithfuls on murder mystery cruise
Sailors will be looking over their shoulders nervously and seeing danger everywhere when they set sail on a Traitors themed murder mystery cruise.
Wilf Webster, the break-out star of the first season of the BBC1 show, will be aboard the Cruise Croatia vessel to add some expert input to a floating game of deceit and deception.
The seven-night voyage, departing August 10, 2024, will take place on the deluxe small ship, MS Adris. Wilf will host the group of 38 faithfuls and traitors as they bob about in the sunshine, trying to weed out the cuckoo in their midst and metaphorically throw them overboard.
The murder mystery at sea will involve guests being bumped off on a cabin-by-cabin basis. The good news is that anyone who suffers at the hands of their fellow players will still get to enjoy the rest of their holiday, rather than being made to walk the plank.
The itinerary starts in the UNESCO listed city of Dubrovnik and takes in the lesser-known gems of Slano, Ston, Korcula, Vis, Hvar and Trogir, before finishing in Split. The cruise features walking tours, wine tasting and oyster harvesting.
Claudia Winkleman to host The Traitors series 2 as dramatic return confirmedPrices start from £1,000 per person, which includes half-board with a daily buffet breakfast and either a three-course lunch or dinner, private transfers and multiple escorted excursions.
Wilf Webster said: "I am thrilled to be hosting this murder mystery themed cruise. Playing this game out at sea will allow people to fully immerse themselves in the experience, as well as enjoy the beautiful cruise itself."
The ship boasts an onboard sundeck complete with splash pool, while the cruise has daily swim stops and complimentary use of paddle boards, sea kayaks and snorkelling equipment.
Graham Carter, Cruise Croatia commercial director, said: "We're incredibly excited to give guests the opportunity to combine our luxury Croatia cruise and a murder mystery. With Wilf joining the guests onboard, this will offer a truly unique, interactive holiday experience. And we promise there will also be plenty of time for everyone onboard to relax and enjoy the wonderful Croatia coastline."
The Traitors cruise is not the only themed voyage passengers can embark upon. Later this year Taylor Swift fans can set sail aboard a ship filled to the gunnels with Swifties.
For four nights in October 2024 a ship of her mega-fans will sail through the Bahamas from the Port of Miami. Guests are invited to dress up in homage to their favourite Taylor Swift era, trade friendship bracelets and presumably burst into an impromptu singalong or two. They will also be treated to a welcome cocktail party, a themed dance session, Swift karaoke and a Taylor trivia quiz.
Each of the four nights there will be a different outfit theme, giving sailors the space to wear a number of their favourite wardrobe choices inspired by the 33-year-old. According to the cruise company's website, "this cruise is for all fans, so bring your besties, your moms and dads, your baby fans".
