Coronation Street star Georgia Taylor's ex partner said his life "fell apart" after they split last year.

Mark Letheren and the actress broke up after being together for 14 years.

Mark's candid social media post came after Georgia was spotted out and about with former co-star Charlie De Melo.

Taking to Facebook with an emotional post, Mark, 51, wrote: "It's been the worst year after a number of increasingly s**t years. My life finally fell apart.

"Thankfully, I'm incredibly lucky and have a family who have picked up the pieces and are trying to help me re-build myself.

"It's thanks to them I'm still here and trying to move forward. For that I'm truly grateful. Whatever the new year brings I hope that strength, humility, joy and love are in abundance for you all," he added, according to The Sun.

Georgia, 42, and Mark broke up in July last year and moved out of their home in Bristol, it's been reported.

Earlier this week Georgia, who is known for playing Toyah in Corrie, was spotted on a walk with her TV husband Charlie, 33, in Manchester.

They both laughed as they strolled arm in arm before getting a coffee together.

Charlie played Imran Habeeb in the ITV drama for five years before he was killed off last year.

The pair have always been good friends, but there are rumours that it could be more than a friendship.

When Charlie left the soap, Georgia shared her devastation.

"Heartbroken. I absolutely adore him," she wrote.

“He's been a dream, an absolute dream. He's so funny so we laugh a lot but he is honestly one of the most supportive people I have ever worked with and even now, we're still in touch obviously, he's texting me, 'How did the day go? Are you OK?'

“He's just a team player. And I mean look at him, there's no complaints there either. He's beautiful."

Charlie is also believed to be single after he split from his former co-star Nicola Thorp.

Mark revealed that he moved to Cornwall "a few months ago" after leaving Bristol.

The former couple met on the set of Casualty in 2008 and have been together ever since.

Speaking about their relationship on Lorraine, Georgia spoke about her long-term partner.

"Yeah, we’re actually not married but we practically are because we’ve been together so long."

"We met, he was a sort of semi-regular character, he was playing a councillor ironically, which is then what Toyah ended up doing. We met, gosh 13 years ago. So yeah, got him out of the job and lots of friends and it was a really good time."
