Love Island viewers fume as Georgia 'lies' way out of Callum drama
Love Island viewers were not impressed as Georgia Steel convinced Callum Jones he was mistaken over a comment she had made behind his back.
Gossip swirled around the villa in the latest episode, as Georgia's comments about not fancying partner Callum got back to him. After days of fans begging for bosses to show Callum what Georgia had been saying, the time finally arrived as Josh Ritchie and Chris Taylor told him what they had heard.
In a recent episode, Georgia told Sophie Piper that she could not see herself sleeping with Callum, while she also hinted to ex Tom Clare she fancied him more than Callum. Tom is currently paired up with Callum's ex Molly Smith, but what Molly and Callum didn't know until Tuesday night was that Georgia had been having secret cosy chats with Tom, with plenty of flirting going on.
Georgia was clearly keen on giving things a go with Tom, while Tom was happy with Molly. The truth all came out in the latest episode, resulting in Callum pulling his partner for a chat about her comments.
But fans hoping for Georgia to be called out for her remarks were left unimpressed, as the issue was quickly sorted out with Georgia "lying her way out of" the drama, according to fans. Callum confronted Georgia about her antics and what had been said about him, after he admitted to Josh and Chris that he was "p****d off".
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesShe saved herself though and claimed it was an "old" comment and she no longer felt that way. She said: "No, look I'm glad this has come out as it's been weighing on my mind.
"I messed up. I had a chat with Sophie and she asked how do you feel about Cal. I was like I can't imagine having sex with Callum yet. I don't see that yet. I didn't feel that sexual chemistry yet." When he asked about whether the door was open between her and Tom, she said: "Tom coming in threw me off because I had that with Tom.
"It was very flirty which I didn't have with you at that time. I fancy you a lot. I think at that time I was still getting to know you." Callum then told her: "Don't feel bad it's old news," before saying all was forgiven.
Georgia then told the girls that she had "the feels" for Callum after seeing how he handled the situation, but viewers were not buying it after her chats with Tom. Taking to X, viewers were convinced there was more drama ahead as many were baffled over how Callum forgave the comment so easily.
One viewer said: "Georgia you literally said you couldn’t see yourself sleeping with Callum YESTERDAY?!?! How is it old news." Another asked: "How is Georgia S getting away with this?" as a third said: "HOW IS SHE STILL MANAGING TO LIE HER WAY OUT OF THIS."
