Stacey Solomon teased that her husband Joe Swash was an "idiot" in a video shared recently, in which he seemingly mistook a cleaning product for an exfoliating device.

The footage was shared by Stacey, 34, on her Instagram Story on Sunday evening. It showed Joe, 42, stood in the kitchen of their home Pickle Cottage in Essex. He was seen using a device on his face as Stacey addressed the situation.

Expressing concern over his use of the electrical device, the short clip began with Stacey asking Joe: "What the hell you doing? That's not for that." She went on to question what he thought the device was, asking: "What do you think that is?"

The actor suggested that it could be an exfoliator, which are used to remove dead skin cells. Joe said in response to his wife: "Well I thought it was like an exfoliator thing." Stacey seemed amused, laughing back to him: "Is that a joke?"

Joe appeared confused, with him questioning what the product was actually used for. He asked the Loose Women presenter in the footage: "What is that then? [...] Babe, what it is?" He went on to tease: "Something for the bedroom?"

Stacey however told him that it's used to remove fibres of lint from clothes. Responding to her husband's questions, she shared in the clip on Instagram: "It's to remove lint off of your clothes." She added: "It's an electric lint remover."

One of her children was heard asking what that meant in the background. Joe, who turned the device on again after previously switching it off, was then seen putting it up against his face as he began walking away from Stacey.

He however appeared to be in discomfort as he was heard making noises and seen rubbing his face just moments later. Stacey teased to her husband over his behaviour: "Don't put it on your face, you idiot. Why are you like that?"

Stacey - who has been in a relationship with Joe since 2016 - teased about having married him two years ago in the caption that accompanied the video. Alongside a laughing emoji, she wrote on the platform: "I married this guy."
