Prince Harry's 'telling pause' shows his feelings at Bob Marley movie premiere
Prince Harry joined wife Meghan Markle in Kingston on Tuesday for the premiere of new movie Bob Marley: One Love.
The couple took in the new release after reportedly being invited by Paramount boss Brian Robbins. Their appearance received a lot of attention, with some corners slamming the pair for attending the glitzy bash while Harry's dad, King Charles, and sister-in-law, Princess Kate, needed medical attention.
However, as well as the criticism for their attendance, some said Harry looked glum at the event - especially with the pair seemingly not impressed the the premiere's seating arrangements. The Mirror asked body language expert Judi James to analyse the images and a video of the pair being ushered to their seats.

Judi told us: "As they are ushered into their seats in the stalls Meghan appears to have applied a gracious smile but Harry looks less than comfortable, seeming to deliberate before stepping in behind his wife. His pause looks telling. Instead of following in behind Meghan, Harry waits, looking very much like a man who has rarely if ever been seated anywhere but in the royal box for film premieres.
"His gestures suggest deliberation. First there is the pause that leaves a large social gap between himself and his wife. Then we can see his hand stroking his chin, which looks like a gesture of decision-taking or deliberation. His legs appear to be splayed to suggest a lack of desire to follow Meghan into the seats and he has one hand stuffed into his pocket, which suggests a desire to hide."
Judi continued: "Harry’s facial expression also looks dour or anxious here. When he does pop in beside Meghan she appears to gesture to someone behind him while his eyes fail to meet hers."
The opinion was seemingly mirrored online by fans who said Harry, who was awarded a Living Legend of Aviation Award last week, looked "miffed". One user on X, formerly Twitter, joked: "They aren't first-row material anymore and they clearly dressed separately thinking they were going to two different events!"
The appearance comes as it was made apparent the duo are still publicising their expired Spotify partnership despite their podcast being axed after just a year. The deal was said to be worth a lucrative £19million.
