A passenger onboard a nine-month world cruise has given a sneak peek inside one of the ship's cabins where holidaymakers will live throughout the epic sailing.

Social media influencer Marc Sebastian has been documenting his life aboard the Ultimate World Cruise. Over the course of 274 Days passengers get to marvel at 11 World Wonders and spend time in more than 60 countries, while motoring between each new destination on the impressive Royal Caribbean ship.

Marc has been documenting his experiences on the cruise on TikTok and offered a glimpse inside his room, from the views to the features - and it seems he's not been left overly impressed.

He shot the video while sailing through the Drake Passage, which is between South America and Antarctica. "This is the view when you first walk in," Marc said before panning round to an amazing ocean view through his window.

The influencer splashed out $8,500 (£6,700) for an 18-night leg of the cruise on Royal Caribbean's Serenade of the Seas, bagging himself an Ocean View stateroom on the third floor for that price. He was not too impressed by some of its features, including the rather diminutive wardrobe.

"I'm not sure how you would fit nine months of clothes in here," he remarked. The bathroom was similarly unimpressive in his mind.

"The shower is super small and I do sometimes feel like one of those capsules that you put in like a drive thru bank that shoots up the top. But it's actually really efficient because the water only comes in three temperatures, which is freezing and scalding hot or third degree burns and I actually like a shower that takes the decision making out of my morning," Marc said.

He quipped that the lighting in the bathroom is "torturous", joking that he has "no choice but to get ready super fast because every minute I'm underneath this lighting takes one year off my life".

He had similar issues in the main cabin. "There's a lot of mirrors in this room. I don't know. Which usually would be fine because I've never met a mirror I didn't like but, under this lighting, I hate every single one of them."

Meanwhile the small foldout sofa and carpets also left him in a spin, as he joked: "I think what's really great about this carpet is that if I wasn't already feeling seasick, now I am.

The TikToker finished by making fun of the curtain, which failed to fully cover the window and offer proper privacy to the room's occupant. "And that concludes the room tour. That's - that's it," he said. He captioned the clip: "For 18 nights? fine. But for 9 months? No can do babe."

Marc is far from the only cruise passenger to shed light on their time aboard the ship. The voyage has become a viral sensation, with cruisers turning it into a self-shot reality TV show obsessed over by millions.

The porthole content creators have offered into their lives aboard the luxury ship in a way which has proved so captivating. In increasing numbers people are asking and finding answers for questions such as what passengers will be eating for the sailing, as well as the type of people who can fork out the £42,000-£92,000 price tag.
