Alisha Lehmann celebrates birthday with boyfriend after WhatsApp habit outed
Aston Villa footballer Alisha Lehmann rung in her 25th trip around the sun with a glitzy birthday bash alongside her Villa teammates and partner Douglas Luiz.
The Switzerland star, who is the most followed female footballer in the world, shared photos from the celebrations on Monday evening on her Instagram.
Seen wearing a bedazzled silver dress and sporting a pair of dark-rimmed sun glasses, the footballer was all smiles as she posed alongside friends and family, along with a chic black and white, double-tiered cake branded with the Switzerland national flag and the winger's initials 'AL'.
In a caption to the Instagram post, Lehmann wrote: "Thanks to everyone for making my 25th birthday so special, will never forget this memory! Cheers to many more years of memories and friendships."
Lehmann also shared a snap of herself and partner Luiz decked out in Louis Vuitton. The pair relationship seems to have rekindled following a reported split in November 2022, after Lehmann's calendar shoot stirred problems between the pair, as per The Sun.

But snaps from New Year celebrations and Lehmann's birthday bash seem to suggest that the relationship is back on track.
Lehmann's club team-mates Kenza Dali and Maz Pacheco were also seen attending the event and posed alongside Lehmann.

Indeed, this year a slew of injuries to key players and drop in form from others placed Ward's side in a precarious position before the winter break.
But a first-half strike from Rachel Daly on Friday provided a much-needed start to the season's second-half, with Villa now seven points clear of the relegation spot having recorded their fourth win of the campaign.

Taking part in some karaoke (@alishalehmann7/Instagram)The Birthday girl was hilariously outed by teammate Daly - who playfully labelled Lehmann her "Swiss Queen" on instagram as she offered her birthday wishes - via an episode of the BBC's Unlocked, in which Daly, 31, revealed that in the Villa squad group chat, Lehmann is guilty of breaching group chat etiquette.
"She leaves voice notes for days," Daly said jovially. "And obviously she’s Swiss, so you can’t two times her because you won’t understand it!"
Lehmann took part in the series last year, sharing insight into her personal life, hobbies and passions, which included a playful revelation of her secret talent, rapping.
Lehmann joined Villa in 2021 and in August extended her stay in the Midlands until 2026, with the option of a further year.
