Amy Childs has issued a heartfelt plea to her fans after her baby son fell ill again.

The TOWIE star's baby boy was rushed to hospital twice last month as he battled to breathe. Billy was taken to A&E on Christmas Day as he "couldn't stop coughing" and suffered from a "high temperature". Amy had been looking forward to Billy and his twin sister Amelia's first Christmas.

The mum-of-four has since taken to her social media in the middle of the night to ask her followers for help. She wrote: “Mums my little man is poorly again, he has had this cough for over 4 months, he is now so blocked up, runny nose, waking himself up. I feel like he gets better, then a few weeks pass, and he is ill again. His immune system must be so low."

Amy detailed all the medication she has tried including Calpol, Nurofen, a nose suction, and Snufflebabe vapour rub as well as raising up his mattress. She urged: "I just want some advice because he is constantly like this." In December, Billy was diagnosed with tonsillitis after his first hospital visit.

Over the festive period, Amy wrote: "Wow what a Christmas we had this year to say it was stressful and tough would be an understatement we ended up in A&E with baby Billy on Christmas Day... he couldn’t stop coughing, high temperature, wasn’t taking his milk, we was all so worried and just wanted him better, so many messages why I haven’t been on my Instagram, and thank you for all your messages!"

The 33-year-old previously explained she was "so worried" about Billy as he was rushed to A&E last month. She said: "Bill's coughing got worse and was struggling to breathe. As a mum I was so worried as when he was a few minutes old when he was born he got taken away and put in the NICU unit for days as he was struggling to breathe. Last night we got told after eight hours by the doctors that he has tonsillitis.

"He is OK this morning just still worrying about his breathing and coughing. Just lots of cuddles with mummy and daddy this morning. My darling Billy." She added how she and dad Billy Delbosq "100 per cent need some sleep" after the late night emergency. Amy, who is also a proud mum to Polly, five and Ritchie, four, had to undergo an emergency C-section in order to welcome her twins into the world last April.

The former TOWIE star had a birth plan but due to baby Billy suffering a prolapsed cord, things didn't go to plan. Amy had to take it in turns with her partner to see baby Billy in the unit - admitting it was "really sad" at the time.
