These days Brooklyn Beckham has gained a reputation for cooking up a storm in the kitchen, but some people may be surprised to know he's never been taught to cook.

The handsome lad who is the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham revealed he mastered his culinary skills through trial and error, and without receiving professional help. Sharing his passion for food online, the 24-year-old former model is taking the next step in his newly found career, opening up a pop-up restaurant to allow fans to taste some of his grub.

Brooklyn has also managed to snag major sponsorship deals with companies owning air fryers and cooking oil. Opening about his latest business venture, the star said: "And I'm workin' on a project in the cookin' space that I'm realisin' in April, but I can't say what it is".

He admits to The Times that wife and billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz isn't much of a cook herself and their busy schedule means they won't always have time to have a meal together. "Sometimes she has a dinner meeting, sometimes I have a dinner meeting. I'm always busy, which I like. When I'm in London it's more about hangin' out with my family."

Revealing to the publication that he has a "good schedule" these days, Brooklyn shares how a typical day in his life looks: "I wake with the dogs early, take them out, do my workout, have my shake, do my meetings, and then hang out with my wife," he admitting when spilling the beans on his routine.

Brooklyn has shared his recipes with the world since lockdown when he began cooking at home. He was encouraged to post videos by Nicola for his Instagram account with 16.4 million followers. Some videos showed the 24-year-old experimenting with different dishes and he was seen frying a steak and spooning pasta sauce from a jar and mixing it with cream.

However, back in April, Brooklyn divided followers after his grilled cheese recipe. The ex-model amped-up version of the traditional grilled cheese and raised their eyebrows over his bizarre tip at the end of the video, when he used a blowtorch to add an extra edge of crispiness to his snack.

Earlier this year, the aspiring cook landed in hot water with his fans after he prepared 'raw beef' for his Sunday brunch. However, TV chef Gordon Ramsay defended Brooklyn at the time and said: "Brooklyn has grown up with my kids and is the son of dear friends of ours. I haven’t seen the video of his supposedly ‘raw’ beef. But even as a 12-year-old, whilst playing football, Brooklyn was always excited about food. So, I’m pleased that he’s gone down that road and he’s found something he really enjoys doing."

Brooklyn revealed that he has begun taking online cooking lessons however he has never attended an in-person class taught by an experienced chef. "Unfortunately, I've never done, like, a cooking class, but I'm obsessed with watching MasterClass [online classes with experts in their field]" he revealed.
