Chelsea have spent plenty of money since Todd Boehly acquired the club back in May 2022 - and the Blues are expected to be busy again before the transfer window shuts on 1 February.

Mauricio Pochettino 's side have endured a topsy-turvy campaign and are currently ninth in the Premier League table, however, they are now in touch with the European spots after splashing the cash in the summer.

It's well known that The Blues are still in the market for a striker and a whole host of top names have been linked, including Brentford's Ivan Toney and Napoli hotshot Victor Osimhen.

Elsewhere, a handful of players have departed the Londoners on loan as we head into the final stretch of the winter window. Here, Mirror Football rounds up all the latest transfer gossip from in and around Stamford Bridge...

Gyokeres makes his feelings clear

Viktor Gyokeres has cooled speculation linking him with a £73million transfer to Chelsea following reports in the Portuguese press this week.

The prolific striker, 25, has plundered an impressive 22 goals in 25 appearances for Sporting Club de Portugal since leaving Championship outfit Coventry City on a free transfer in the summer.

In turn, a host of top European clubs have been credited with an interest in Gyokeres' services - including the Blues. But Gyokeres told Sport TV, via O Jogo, that he was paying no attention to such speculation.

"I don't think anything about it," he said. "I'm here and we have important games, I'm focused on that. There's a lot of talk on social media and other places, but I'm not focused on that. I don't think about anything else. I'm here now and I'm 100 per cent focused on this and the club."

Chelsea have recalled midfielder Cesare Casadei from his season-long loan at runaway Championship leaders Leicester City.

The Italian playmaker, 21, has made a big impression at the King Power Stadium since linking up with Enzo Maresca's side on a temporary basis back in the summer, contributing three goals and two assists in 25 matches.

Casadei's return to Stamford Bridge was officially confirmed on Friday and he is expected to link up with Pochettino's first-team for the remainder of the season.

Tottenham are in talks to sign Club Bruges winger Antonio Nusa - just months after Chelsea failed to sign the talented teenager.

Nusa, 18, was the subject of interest from the Blues back in the summer, but Bruges knocked back a £24million bid.

The Athletic have now outlined that Spurs are trying to do a deal for Nusa, who is valued at €30m (£25.75m) by Bruges, who would also like him to spend the remainder of the season with them on loan.
