Traitors star Ross' secret exposed as co-star discovers truth about mum Diane
Fans of The Traitors are in mourning following iconic Faithful Diane Carson's exit from the show, with viewers left wondering if her son's identity will be rumbled now his mother has left the castle.
But one Traitor already knows all about Ross and Diane's not-so secret family connection - declaring they could "see it" upon discovering Diane had been keeping mum about playing the game alongside one of her children.
Viewer-favourite Diane, 63, got a camp send-off during Wednesday night's installment of the BBC murder mystery, with the retired teacher from Lancashire being slowly 'murdered' by the Traitors after being handed a poisoned chalice by Miles Asteri.
However, there was a twist as she didn't immediately leave the Scottish castle. Host Claudia Winkleman announced that one Faithful had been poisoned, but their identity would only be confirmed at the end of the mission.

Reuniting with her 'murderer' Miles on the official Traitors visualised podcast, Diane discovered just who the Traitors were but also revealed her own secret - leaving veterinary nurse Miles, 36, lost for words and gasping before claiming it's now obvious Diane is Ross' mother.
"No way! Oh my God," a visibly stunned Miles exclaimed with his hands over his mouth as Diane spilled the tea. "Now you say it, I can see it. That's so naughty..." Raising a glass to toast her son with Miles, a smirking Diane declared: "Ross is my boy, so cheers to Ross. He's good boy."
Miles was gobsmacked by his 'victim's' revelation (BBC)Diane's demise on Wednesday night involved a funeral procession on the castle grounds before her fate was revealed to the rest of the group. The cast were given clues to the victim's identity and could add £7,000 to the prize fund if they correctly identified them. At the journey's end, they reached the "final resting place" of the Traitors' victim.
Diane, Evie Morrison and Paul Gorton - the three players not yet ruled out - lay in coffins while the others threw roses to indicate their guesses. Most chose Diane, and it was then revealed that she had been 'murdered,' as her coffin lid closed. Ross, who the group doesn't know is Diane's son, admitted he suspected it was her.
He confessed: "I had the sinking realisation that it was probably gonna be mum and I had to come to terms with that. And that's not easy." Diane managed to secretly say goodbye to Ross, who later shared: "It was grim. It was morbid, y'know. You don't expect to go to funerals in situations like this - let alone your mum's funeral. I really hope it's not her."
After Diane was revealed as 'murdered' on the show, Claudia asked if anyone had any last words. Ross spoke up in the group: "I think Diane was an incredible player and I think it's a massive loss to be honest to the whole team. We'll be trying to find the Traitors tonight for sure!"
In a private moment, Diane confessed: "I'm okay with it being me. It would have been way worse if it'd been Ross." Meanwhile, Ross said about Diane: "Me and mum always said like whatever happens, keep the secret and crack on y'know. At the end of the day we wanna win this thing!"
