Peaky Blinders star Paul Anderson has been forced to deny misconduct allegations on set.

Paul - who played Arthur Shelby Jr. in the hit BBC series - was reportedly subjected to a complaint by a colleague, with an internal investigation being launched by producers. He is confident if an investigation comes about, it will clear him of any misconduct claims.

He strongly denies the allegations made, which were made by another person who works on set. The 44-year-old actor appeared in every episode of the BBC show alongside Cillian Murphy, who plays Tommy.

A source told The Sun: "Paul has had an issue to deal with away from the set after a claim was made - which he completely denies."

Paul Anderson and the BBC have been contacted for comment. A spokesperson for Peaky Blinders' production had no comment.

"I'm writing it right now. I mean, I'm nearly done writing it, and we're going to shoot it... I'm setting up some film and television studios in Digbeth in Birmingham," he explained, "We're going to shoot it at the studios in Digbeth, and on location in Digbeth in Birmingham. Digbeth and Small Heath is where the Peaky Blinders actually roamed ... So it's like Peaky's coming home, basically."

Earlier this year, Steven confirmed filming will begin soon - but couldn't be drawn on a release date yet.

"Well, I'm hoping that we'll be shooting in… within 18 months. And then obviously, we put it together. I don't know, I mean it will depend on the distributors and things when it goes out," he said.

"But I'm just really looking forward to having a Peaky event where people can watch it communally. I mean, the social media community is so strong and people talk to each other. But to actually be together physically will be really interesting."
