Having scoured the new-in sections of high street retailers, it seems that loafers are set to be the must-have shoe for 2024. And has launched some that look just like a for a fraction of the price.

The Swedish retail giant known for its trendy and purse-friendly offerings has had fashion fans going mad for the latest style - so much so that .

The , and were dubbed a ‘Miu Miu dupe’ by fashion influencer Faye Ellaby, who shared the style with her 108k Instagram followers over the weekend.

Featuring a cut-out tab and decorative penny-style detail, these with shoppers saying they look way more expensive than their price tag. Some loved them so much that they bought two pairs, though the general consensus is that they run a little small, with several reviews suggesting to size up.

One said: “Whewww, where do I begin? These shoes are . They look expensive!!! They are narrow so you may want to size up; that is what I did and I am satisfied. I can wear both thin and thick socks in these. Classic.”

Another wrote: “These shoes are comfortable and stylish and I am always getting compliments on them. They are so comfy that I bought another pair.”

One described them as ‘elegant and chic’, adding: “ look more expensive than they are.” While a fourth added: “They are comfortable and don't need to be broken into. Classic style and goes with most things.”

The bargain shoes do share a striking resemblance to , which come with a hefty price tag of £850. The design draws inspiration from 1950s American college student style, which is why they’re perfect for the ‘old money’ trend. Of course, the designer pair are real leather, while H&M’s offering is made from PU.

Elsewhere, Frankie Bridge has been spotted in these , which have been reduced from £60 to £21.99 in the sale, as well as the . Though they’re a little more expensive at £55, they come well reviewed by shoppers and are an equally stylish way to elevate your footwear this spring.

For something a little chunkier though, and perfect for adding a little bit of height to an outfit without needing heels.
