She was last photographed in Hollywood in 2009 while attending the premiere of Quentin Tarantino's World War II flick Inglorious Bastards.

It has previously been reported that Fonda decided to step out of the spotlight so she could focus on raising her son, and the family has been living on a ranch in Santa Barbara. She also reportedly left the business after a car accident in 2003 left her with a fractured back.

Last year, she was asked about her career whilst out in Los Angeles, as reported by the Daily Mail. Bridget was seen wearing a striped T-shirt and black pants. Asked if she wanted to make a move back into Hollywood, she responded: "No". She further commented when questioned: "I don't think so. It's too nice being a civilian". Bridget was then asked whether there was any director who could potentially change her mind and again she replied: "No".

Bridget has been focusing on her family and civilian life. In 2009, Jane Fonda took to her website to share snaps of a Christmas party hosted by Bridget and her husband Danny.

“Bridget and Danny give an annual Christmas party, each one with a theme,” Jane wrote. "This year was Cuba and there was a fantastic full Cuban band. Many people wore costumes. We did a minimal job on costumes but had fun anyway. Vanessa and my grandchildren just got in from Atlanta in time for the party and to see their cousin Oliver.” Danny, who composed for many Tim Burton movies, still regularly posts updates about his career and life on Instagram. Danny and Bridget currently live in neighbouring properties in Encino, Los Angeles.
