Our Yorkshire Farm fans concerned as Reuben Owen shares Ravenseat update
Reuben Owen sparked safety concerns among Our Yorkshire Farm fans after uploading an ill-advised TikTok.
Viewers of the Channel 5 show watched him playing around with his tractors on the social media platform and were worried he was going to badly injure himself. Some seemed to know what they're talking about after the worrying clip of the 19-year-old hit social media.
He was joined by his dad Clive at Ravenseat Farm amid its renovation and Reuben headed out for a ride. But before as he was getting to grips with the vintage vehicles, his use of the hand crank provoked a response from those who follow him - who told him to think twice in the future.
He was advised to be more careful as he was seen putting some muscle behind the tricky manouvere. There were plenty offering the young teen farmer tips in the comments and they hope he heeded their words after being troubled by what they watched.
One told him: "Keep ur thumb in on the Fordson Reuben, they can kick and many have broken a thumb. Another said similar, writing: "Ya going the right way to get a broken thumb buddy trying to star that Ford if she kicks back."
Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen sparks concern with 'crumbling' Ravenseat picsA third person echoed: "Watch your thumb and wrists cranking the handle like that mate, they can kick back and hurt (or) potentially break something." But many of his fans were thrilled to see him spending time with Clive after a difficult time for the Owen family.
Clive and his ex-wife Amanda Owen, 49, share nine children Raven, 21, Reuben, 19, Miles, 16, Edith, 14, Violet, 12, Sidney, 11, Annas, nine, Clemmy, seven, and Nancy, six. The pair were married for 23 years before announcing their separation in June 2022. Taking to her Instagram Story, the Yorkshire Shepherdess wrote: “Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.
This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family. Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and wellbeing of our children." Despite their split, the exes appear to be on good terms and have been pictured together on numerous occasions.
