Saltburn's Barry Keoghan winces as his manhood is 'thanked' for being 'real'
Barry Keoghan's manhood became the topic of discussion at a glitzy awards show.
The actor who recently sent the world into a frenzy after appearing in Saltburn attended the Critics Choice Awards at The Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Barry, 31, has been widely praised for his portrayal as Oliver Quick in the 2022 movie Saltburn, written and directed by Emerald Fennell.
Saltburn focuses on Oxford University scholarship holder Oliver and his best friend Felix Catton (played by Jacob Elordi). Throughout the movie, Oliver struggles to fit in with his wealthy peers before becoming infatuated with Felix. Jacob's character is seen pleasuring himself in the bath of his luxury home before hopping out once he's done, all while Oliver watches on.
Moments later, Oliver dives into the bathtub and instantly begins slurping up the water and Felix's bodily fluids. But as the movie comes to an end, Barry's character can be seen dancing completely naked to Murder on The Dancefloor by Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
During the recent Critics Choice Awards, host Chelsea Handler comment on Keoghan's decision to not use a prosthetic penis and instead, exposed his manhood. "And now, it's time to talk about the horniest movie of the year Saltburn," she said before the cameras instantly turned to an awkward-looking Barry who buried his face in his hand.

Featuring men in various states of undress. Most male actors use prosthetics, so thank you, Barry, for keeping it real, and please thank your penis for its service."
In the movie, viewers saw Barry's character having sex with Felix's grave, which he has since admitted was completely unscripted. Emerald also allowed Barry to "let his body lead the way" after "planting seeds" throughout the filming process. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Emerald said: "I spoke to Barry in the morning. And I just said, 'I don't know, Barry. I think that he would... Unzip' and Barry just said 'Yup'."
Addressing the now infamous grave scene, he said: "On paper, he (Oliver) wasn't written to do that. But I wanted to see what actually happened, and where I would take it. I wanted to be confused and let my body lead the way. What am I doing? How can I get closer?" But while some may have been concerned by the grave scene and indeed the bathtub scene, Elordi previously admitted he was "thankful" that Barry slurped up his bodily fluids.
Speaking previously he told Variety : "I was like, 'Thank God, it's mine', I was very proud, I was very proud to have Barry Keoghan guzzling it like that."
