EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas is engaged!
The actor, who played Anthony Moon from 2011 to 2012, went all out to propose to his girlfriend Karina Hind - with fireworks featured during his beautiful beach proposal in Dubai. Matt, 34, shared their special moment on Instagram and fans were blown away by the soap star's efforts. The video shared by Matt showed the Dancing On Ice star and Karina, dressed in a lovely floaty dress, taking an evening stroll on the beach.
Matt then pulled out a letter before getting down on one knee. Karina, a stage actress currently starring in Matilda the Musical, was clearly visibly shocked and covered her face with her hands. She said yes to Matt's sweet proposal, nodding to confirm her decision. The happy couple then took selfies, showing off Karina's new engagement ring, before celebrating with drinks and a fireworks display.

Since the day we met, you have brought love and laughter into my life, you are everything I could have dreamed of, life with you is pure and joyful, the memories we have created and will keep on creating will always be fun and full of happiness, I love the feeling and the butterflies I get when I see you smiling!
"They say love conquers all and with you I feel like I have conquered the world! You make me the happiest I have ever been, and there is no one in this world I would want to share the rest of my life with [other] than you!" In a sweet tribute to his future wife, Matt added: "I tell you to chase your dreams and seize the moment so that's exactly what I'm doing @karinahind wifey to be I love you. Thank you to @wdubaiminaseyahi for helping me sort out the most magical moment from the welcome pictures to the fireworks you have been a dream! Memories forever!"

Newly engaged Karina was one of the first to comment on Matt's video, writing: "My fiancé xxxxx I love you xxxxx." Fans flooded the comment section with well wishes for the happy couple, with one telling the two actors: "What fantastic news ! Huge congratulations to you both."
Kieran Hayler, Katie Price's ex-husband, told the former EastEnders actor: "Congratulations mate beautiful couple." "Congratulations to you both I can’t WAIT to see that riiiiiiing you did good Matthew and I’m so happy for you both," another Instagram user added, as a third quipped: "Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy congratulations to u both! Stunning couple, you deserve all the happiness in the world!!!!!."
Matt recently opened up about his exit from EastEnders, admitting it wasn't his choice to quit the BBC soap and say goodbye to Albert Square. He told the latest episode of Soap From The Box podcast: "When Lorraine Newman came in I went up to have a meeting with her and she told me they weren't renewing my contract.
"I was like, 'Oh. Ok'. We went to an awards ceremony the next couple of days, someone said to me and Tony (who played Tyler Moon), because we always used to do interviews together, 'The Moon boys have taken the Square by storm, we can't wait to see what's next for you'. But I'd been told I wasn't allowed to say that I was leaving. So it was a moment of like, 'Oh... it's going to be good!'".
