Gordon Ramsay has angered Cornish people yet again after reportedly being spotted leaving his £313,000 Ferrari on double yellow lines.

The celebrity chef was thought to have been visiting his protege Paul Ainsworth in the foodie fishing town of Padstow, where he runs his Michelin-starred No.6 restaurant.

But instead of using a car park, 57-year-old Gordon seemingly parked up beneath a ‘no parking’ sign and on double yellows. It is not known whether he got a ticket, but even if he did it would be small change for the TV star and restauranteur, who is estimated to be worth a staggering £610 million.

He was snapped by social media user Guy Wilson who shared it in the Facebook group Private Number Plate Spotters. He wrote alongside it: “Spotted Gordon Ramsay in his Ferrari Purosangue a few days ago.” And some of the 200,000 followers of the public group were quick to comment underneath with one saying: “Double yellow lines must not count when the car is so expensive.” While another wrote: “£400k on a car alright for some.” The Mirror has contacted reps for Gordon for further comment on this story.

Gordon, who has a £4.4 million second house in Cornwall where he and wife Tana spend a lot of their time, caused uproar when he moved his family there for lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic.

It seemed the locals weren't happy about the TV star and his family fleeing London to wait the pandemic out in their Cornish home. It was said that a Facebook group, called You Shouldn't Be Here, was created to publicly shame celebrities and wealthy families who had relocated to their second homes from busy cities in the midst of the pandemic.

And this isn't the first time he's caused upset with his parking. Back in April 2020, Gordon was pictured seemingly having some cross words with a man who was angry the chef had left his Land Rover parked up in front of a shop. Witnesses said the man confronted Gordon over the way his car was parked, as well as the sheer size of it. But it's said that the Hell's Kitchen star kept his cool throughout the discussion.

Then in March 2022, Gordon risked the wrath of locals again when he publicly declared that while he loved Cornwall, he "can't stand the Cornish". Speaking to Vernon Kay on BBC Radio 2, about his dream dish to make, he said: "I would go down to the beautiful Cornish coast and get a little line-caught seabass and do that with a little light crushed potatoes. Trust me I absolutely love Cornwall, it's just the Cornish I can't stand."

Life is busier than ever at the moment for Gordon, who recently became a dad for the sixth time when wife Tana gave birth to their youngest son Jesse James in November at the age of 49. The couple, who married in 1996, are already parents to five other children - Megan, 24, twins Jack and Holly, 23, Tilly, 22, and four-year-old Oscar. Tana said there would be no more kids for her and Gordon now and added: “Ramsay family definitely complete. Jesse James Ramsay we love you so much.”
