Molly-Mae Hague has firmly defended her parenting abilities after cruel internet trolls took aim at her.

The 23-year-old reality star has recently enjoyed a sun-soaked trip to Maldives with her husband-to-be, Tommy Fury, and their one-year-old daughter Bambi. Naturally, Molly-Mae had been sharing snapshots and video clips from her luxury holiday for her fans and followers to admire and enjoy.

She shared snaps of herself enjoying ice cream in a high end bar, frolicking at the beach, posing in designer clothes, and spending quality time with her baby daughter. And while the mother and daughter looked to be having a lovely time bonding in the Indian Ocean sunshine, some bitter followers took aim at the former Love island contestant and her ability to care for her own child.

Specifically, some fans raged against Molly-Mae for allowing baby Bambi into the sunshine without a sun hat on. But the protective mother has not taken the criticism lying down and has hit back at the trolls in her latest video update.

Furious Molly-Mae laughed off the criticism, explaining that her young child refuses to wear sun hats. She said: "I will add, so many comments I get about, 'You don't put a sun hat on Bambi, you don't put a hat on her, you expose her to the sun.'

"I'd like to know, how any mother is putting a hat on their 11-month-old? I physically don't understand it. Even one with a string underneath or like a tie. She will get so upset when I put one on her, and just cry and cry until I take it off. So yes, this trip we have experienced the hat tantrums."

Molly-Mae went on to explain she had been anxious about going on a sunny holiday with her young daughter as she feared about caring for her. She said: "I was like, 'How am I going to navigate this?' I was really doubting myself as a mum."

Happily, she ended up having a fantastic time with her fiancé and daughter. She told fans: “I feel like we've smashed this trip in terms of parenting. She's been an absolute dream."

Now the trio are back in the UK and Molly-Mae has been continuing to share snapshots from her enviable life. Over the weekend, she shared an adorable snap of herself posing with Bambi posing in a mirror together.

And it seems her one-year old may have helped with the actual image, as she captioned the moment, writing: “Let me help you with that pic mum”. And she then shared a family photo of herself with Bambi and Tommy all posing together. She captioned this image writing: ‘us 3’ along with a peace sign emoji and a white heart emoji.

The adorable snap may ease fears of some fans who have been concerned for Molly-Mae and 23-year-old Tommy’s four-year relationship. The romance was rocked last year when Tommy was snapped partying with a string of women - and controversial singer Chris Brown - while in the Middle East and while Molly-Mae was left at home holding Bambi. Fears that the incident had caused a crack in the romance emerged when Molly-Mae was spotted without her engagement ring. But they couple have since proven they are as close as ever by posing for loved up snaps together.
