Inside Dancing On Ice's Ricky Hatton's love life after split with Playboy model

If anyone knows how important it is to maintain a high level of concentration before his skating debut on Dancing On Ice, it's perhaps boxing champion Ricky Hatton.

However, the 45 year old star has been dealt a bitter blow following the break down of his brief relationship with Playboy model, Chelsea Claire, who at 31 years old is 14 years his junior. Ricky started dating Chelsea last summer but decided to keep their romance a secret until October of that year. And while things appeared to be going well for the sportsman, it seems a combination of their vast age gap, along with work commitments, took too much of a toll on their relationship.

A source told The Sun: "Ricky and Chelsea had a great time together, but it ended up being more of a fling. They are at very different stages of their life and Ricky is really throwing himself into training and wants to concentrate on that. Things are still really amicable and they will be friends going forward." But Chelsea is not the only one to attract Ricky's attention. Angela and Ricky started dating back in July 2022 and the pair went public with their romance after posting a picture of themselves enjoying a weekend away in Dublin.

Taking time out of his training schedule ahead of his exhibition fight against Marco Antonio Barrera in November, Ricky and Angela spent time on a pub crawl in the Irish city. Fans saw the pair soak in the sights of the quays and Temple bar pub, where they enjoyed a pint of Guinness at one of the capital's famous spots.

Marie entered Ricky's life in 2016 but their romance was short lived as they split the following year. But it seems they were not able to fight off their connection as the pair reunited in 2021. Sharing with fans that they were back together, the pair posted pictures of their romantic getaway in Croatia.

At the time a source said: "He's known Marie for years, but they've grown close again. Ricky’s really happy." And the father of three seemed pleased as punch with Marie as he took to X, former known as Twitter and wrote: "Great time with the Mrs. What a place. Highly recommend it."

And many fans posted messages joking that he was punching above his weight. One fan said: "Ricky you were always a great puncher, but look at your beautiful Mrs you are really punching above your weight.” Another added: “Punching still I see champ!"

Jennifer was Ricky's first love as the mother of his children and his former fiance. Jennifer had been with Ricky from the beginning of his career but by 2013 cracks appeared to show and Ricky moved out of the family home.

But the following year, the pair reunited in 2014. Speaking about the tumultuous nature of his relationship with Jennifer, he said at the time: "Me and Jennifer are working through our difficulties.We are no different to anybody else except my life is under the spotlight because of who I am.”
