No matter how hard you try to keep on top of the wrappers and crumbs, having little ones in the car will inevitably create a mess - and it can quickly become a nightmare situation.

But one parent has been slammed online after taking their filthy car to be professionally cleaned. Photos of the back seat surfaced online, showing biscuits, sweets, wrappers, and a lollipop stick scattered around, along with a fair amount of dirt rubbed into the covers and carpets.

Whilst some people couldn't believe the 'carnage' inside the car, others empathised and added that their cars could give it a run for its money.

The car was dropped off at a car cleaning service and staff very quickly realised this wouldn't be a quick half an hour job. The cleaning service, which is located in Australia, posted before and after pictures of the process, and said they were "dedicated to reversing the true carnage this poor little Mazda had endured". They added: "Usually we like to only share 'after' photos, but this one was too funky not to share."

In total the little Mazda took a whopping seven hours to clean, with the seats and carpets being shampooed and cleaned multiple times to "remove sticky substances, deep stains and unpleasant odours".

The post on the cleaning company's Facebook from 2020 said they wanted to give the car a "second chance at life", but added in the post: "Unfortunately the remaining marks on the seats were caused by baby seats and are irreversible. We always recommend to people who have just purchased a new vehicle to place a towel under baby seats to avoid this type of damage if child seat safety guidelines approve this."

Whilst the car was unrecognisable once the process had been completed, people commenting on the post were in a rage at how the car had been allowed to get to the state it was in. With one furious person writing commenting "How the actual f*** do disgusting maggots actually let their s*** get to this?? I'd HATE to see the state of this person's house."

A second replied" "That is absolutely disgusting, have they never cleaned their car!?"

But for some parents, the state of the car was a reflection of their reality and actually a welcome site to know they weren't the only ones with messy cars and kids. With one person commenting" "Wow. If you guys want a real challenge I've got an Imax. Six kids under 7. It's a bit feral!"

Do you know a messy car that can compete with this one? We want to hear all about it, so email us at [email protected] with pictures.
