1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton held back tears as she reached her lowest weight since she was a teenager.
The 37-year-old couldn't help but smile as she paid a visit to her weight loss doctor, Dr Smith, for a follow-up to her bariatric surgery. In a clip shared by TLC on Instagram, Tammy admitted she had been worried about going to her appointment.
However, she was lost for words when her doctor revealed she had managed to slim down to 420lb. Speaking in a confessional, Tammy said: "I was so worried about the number, but in six months I lost over 100 pounds. The last time I weighed this low I was like 15, 16. It's mind-blowing, like, I freaking really did this."

The video comes just one day after Tammy suffered an awkward wardrobe malfunction after her impressive weight loss. Taking to TikTok, the reality star decided to put on some shapewear so she could show her followers what she would look like without her excess skin.
However, as she chatted away to the camera, Tammy's trousers fell down because they're now too big. Luckily, she saw the funny side and giggled: "Oops, my pants are falling down."

Tammy has been able to lose the weight after following a strict diet and spending time at a food rehabilitation centre. She's also been focusing on her fitness, with the TV star taking her sister Amy Slaton to a Zumba class in a recent episode of their TLC show.
The 1000-lb Sisters stars were joined by siblings Chris, Amanda and Misty, who have also had weight loss surgery. "Today is day one of camp 'get fit'. Now that we've all had weight loss surgery, we all have to stay on track. So, we're all here and we’re all working on our beach bodies getting ready to go to Pensacola,” Chris said.
During the intense class, the siblings sweetly noticed how well Tammy was doing, and praised her for getting up and moving. "She's standing there and she's out of her chair moving. She was just shaking her groove thang," Amanda gushed.
