Tom Holland denies Zendaya breakup rumours as Euphoria star gives mixed signals

Tom and Zendaya have been shrouded in break up rumours

Tom Holland insisted that his and Zendaya's relationship was totally fine.

Zendaya, however, doesn't follow Tom back on Instragram after she went on a massive unfollow spree — an instant sign to the young generation that there might be trouble in paradise. Rumours brewed as Zendaya went on a shopping trip Friday with her brother Austin. While Zendaya spent the day away from her longterm boyfriend, she was seen driving through Culver City.

Concern arose since this was the second outing this week without Tom. On Wednesday, she was hanging out with her brother while Tom was spending a night out in West Hollywood on the same day. Tom and Zendaya haven't been seen together in months.

Luckily, Tom was quick to squash the rumours when he was approached by a photographer. The snapper tried to make a little small talk with Tom, who is fighting another rumour about a fake role in Back to The Future. Eventually, he was popped the question about his relationship status with Zendaya. When asked if they were broken up, he responded: "No, absolutely not."

In the past, Tom and Zendaya have been pretty private about their relationship. The pair starred together in Marvel's Spiderman movies and, while relationship rumours were always buzzing, they didn't confirm it for years. During this time, though, The Mirror is told it was an open secret in Hollywood.

It's never been confirmed when exactly their little romance officially took off, but there has always been a sort of chemistry between the two. Fans often point back to their Lip Sync Battle where they went head-to-head in a competition. Zendaya performed to Erykah Badu's Tyrone and Bruno Mars' 24K Magic. Tom performed a "Singin' in the Rain"/"Umbrella" mashup that went super viral.

Throughout this time period of uncertainty, each person was linked to other people, so that's where the timeline gets dicey. However, by July 2021, the secret was out. They were photographed in car making out, so it became clear to all that there truly was a spark between them and it wasn't just some fan imagined fantasy. From there on, they proceeded with a very open relationship.
