Kendall Jenner has come under fire for apparently refusing to hold her own umbrella

Kendall Jenner has been slammed after pictures emerged showing her accompanied by a man apparently paid to hold her umbrella.

In the snap, taken as The Kardashians star walked home from her gym in LA, Kendall can be seen walking with her head down while holding her phone while being closely followed by a man holding an umbrella over her head to protect her from the rain. The photo has certainly ruffled the feathers of fans who are calling the 28-year-old reality icon out for being seemingly so out of touch with reality.

"Having someone who works for you hold your umbrella in a light drizzle while you're literally wearing a hoodie is peak entitlement," one person posted on Reddit, pointing out that if Kendall could use her hood to cover herself, adding: "How anyone can have any level of respect for these people is beyond me.” Another user posted a photo of the late Queen Elizabeth standing in the rain holding her own brolly, commenting: "Even Queen Elizabeth carried her own umbrella."

Fans also pointed out that it would take considerable effort for Kendall and her brolly-holder to coordinate their walking pace, noting: "I feel like it takes more effort to match your pace with someone and not get wet than it does to just lean the umbrella against your shoulder…"

Others showed concern for the umbrella holder, noting Kendall seemed selfishly unbothered that he was getting wet himself. Some expressed sarcastic sympathy for the star, who recently broke up with Bad Bunny after less than a year of dating, speculating that perhaps her line of thought was: "I’m going through a break up I deserve it!"

Another fan joked: "I mean, she can’t cut a cucumber, an umbrella may lead to serious injury," making reference to the bizarre video of Kendall cutting a cucumber. The infamous clip, which went viral in 2022, showed the then 26-year-old choosing to hold the vegetable from the sliced end, with her fingers dangerously close to the moving knife. "I’m kind of scared," the star said as she concentrated on chopping, before confessing: "I’m not a professional whatsoever." At the time, fans slammed Kendall for the "cringe" video, saying it showed an embarrassing lack of simple culinary skills.
