1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton suffered a wardrobe malfunction as her pants fell down after her incredible weight loss.
The reality star has shared her weight loss journey, alongside sister Amy, on the hit show, and has lost more than 363lbs over the last two years. She’s now looking forward to having her excess skin removed this year, in an operation that is set to cost more than $85,000, and showed her fans just why she had her heart set on the surgery.
In a video on TikTok, Tammy wanted to show off her continuing weight loss, and decided to put on some shapewear so her followers could see what she looked like when she had surgery to remove her excess skin. Talking to the camera after getting changed, Tammy laughed as she suffered the unfortunate wardrobe malfunction as she turned around. “Oops, my pants are falling down,” she giggled.

She styled out the wardrobe malfunction (tammyslaton2020)She then changed into a t-shirt that read ‘chubby girls cuddle better’, which is ironic after she’s shed more than 300lbs. Her fans were quick to heap praise on her motivation and appearance in the comments, with many telling Tammy she didn’t need surgery to remove her excess skin. “Do you get to have skin removal.. You look great,” one fan wrote in the comments on her TikTok video. “Tammy I’m so proud of you!!! you have come such a long way and I’ve always rooted for you and enjoyed your journey! Keep thriving love,” another added.

Many shared their adoration for Tammy’s body confidence in the video, with fans suggesting she needed to embrace brighter colours to show off her shrinking frame. “I love the colorful confidence. you are amazing keep up all the hard work girl friend,” one wrote. “Tammy you are beautiful inside and out. So proud of your transformation. You’re doing amazing!” another agreed.
The reality star has worked hard to shed more than 360lbs (TLC)Tammy shared a series of outfits during the video, including purple dresses and comfortable loungewear, and her fans begged her to do more fashion videos. “More try on hauls??? And get ready with me’s??” one suggested. “This was an amazing haul. I’m so proud of your progress,” another added.
In a recent episode of 1,000-lb Sisters, Tammy can be seen focusing on her fitness as she sheds yet more weight following her gastric bypass surgery in 2022. The 37-year-old and her sister Amy took part in a Zumba class, alongside siblings Chris, Amanda and Misty, who have also had weight loss surgery.
“Today is day one of camp ‘get fit’. Now that we’ve all had weight loss surgery, we all have to stay on track. So, we’re all here and we’re all working on our beach bodies getting ready to go to Pensacola,” Chris quipped.
During the intense class, the siblings sweetly noticed how well Tammy was doing, and praised her for getting up and moving. “She’s standing there and she’s out of her chair moving. She was just shaking her groove thang,” Amanda gushed.
