A survey has revealed the average number of sexual partners people have in their lifetime - and the results are rather surprising.
Asking someone how many people they have slept with is a very personal question, and while some may keep their cards close to their chest, others are happy to openly discuss their sex lives.
euroClinix, a healthcare company conducted a survey of 2,000 people around the UK to delve deep into people's sex lives and find out how many sexual partners they have had. The study found that Londoners are the ones to get down to business in the sheets most commonly, as those living in the capital have the highest number of sexual partners.
The results revealed that 25 per cent of people have had sex with two to four people in their lifetime and surprisingly, 14 per cent of respondents said they've only had sex with one person over the course of their life. Whereas two per cent of people were quite a bit more sexually active, and admitted they have had over 91 different sexual partners.
Five per cent of those being people in London, and three per cent being 35-44-year-olds. Whereas four per cent admitted they didn't know how many people they had slept with.

The study, which was conducted in 2018 shared the surprising results, it seems as if the older generation of baby boomers - those aged 54 to 72 seemed to have had the least amount of sexual partners and averaged at 10.7 throughout their lifetimes. Whereas Gen X are quite liberated and those aged between 38 and 53 racked up an average of 13.1 partners.
However, people aged between 23-37 may become the friskiest in their lifetime, and have already clocked up an average of 11.6 sexual partners. The full breakdown of numbers from the study can be found below.
