TOWIE star James Lock shows off new face after jetting abroad for surgery
James Lock has now showcased the results of a recent rhinoplasty, after having teased to his fans that he would be heading abroad for cosmetic surgery just a few weeks ago.
The reality TV star, 37 - who is best known for appearing on the Only Way is Essex - shared that he would be travelling to Turkey for a procedure last month. He hinted at the time that he would have work on his face, particularly his nose.
He suggested that he was undergoing a procedure after an "accident" a while ago, which he said left him with a "dent". It's since been revealed that he underwent a rhinoplasty and fat transfer under his eyes at a clinic in Istanbul last month.

The reality TV star, pictured in a selfie said to be two weeks post-op, shared an update this week (jameslock__ Instagram)James shared an update on Instagram this week, in which he included photos taken in the days since the surgery. He noted that he had the procedure through Serene Cosmetic, which has itself posted about his experience recently, saying that he had "rhinoplasty and fat transfer to under eyes".
Alongside photos and videos, James wrote on the platform on Friday: "[Serene Cosmetic] dump so far!" He encouraged his followers in the caption of the post: "Swipe to see what my face looked like before and parts of my journey."

The first photo showed James sporting what appeared to be a bandage over his nose. He wrote about it: "After being given the green light to fly home post-surgery." Another showed his face two days after the surgery. James, who was again sporting a bandage, acknowledged that his face was "swollen," though added: "Still feeling good!"

James - who was said to have sustained injuries whilst working on the show, before appearing on The Challenge: Battle for a New Champion - wrote this week: "My face before my surgery which some people may have seen."
Whilst the final photo in the post showed James "just over two weeks after surgery". The reality TV star didn't sport any bandages on his face in the selfie and the swelling appeared to have reduced in the weeks since the procedure.
He also shared footage from the hospital and the "recovery villa" in the country abroad. James said that in the medical facility staff "couldn't be more helpful" and said that having food included made "life a lot easier" during the process.
The post has amassed more than 45,000 likes since it was uploaded this week. A number of James' followers reacted to the news in the comments section, with some having shared their support and well-wishes over his recovery.
James teased in a post last month that he would be heading abroad for surgery. He shared a video of himself discussing the decision, saying: "I'm going out [to Turkey this week] to get some work done as you could probably have guessed."
He suggested that his fans wouldn't be able to guess what procedure he was having done, before providing a "little clue". James said that he had an "accident" the previous year, which "left a bit of a dent" that had "bothered" him since.
"The only way I can rectify it is through surgery. So I've thought about it long and hard. I'm gonna go out there and get it done - for my own peace of mind. I've wanted it done for a long time," he commented in the video last month.
