Now that Christmas has been and gone, supermarkets have already got us thinking about springtime as the shelves are stocked full of Easter eggs.

The Easter treats have left people fuming, as many feel it's far too soon. But Creme Egg fans might want to pause their frustration as Cadbury is bringing back an "absolutely delicious" chocolate bar.

Creme Eggs are one of the most popular Easter treats, and having a chocolate bar with a Creme Egg filling has delighted chocolate fans all over, as shoppers flocked to pick them up in B&M stores.

The new chocolate bar can be found in Sainsbury's, B&M, Iceland, Asda and Morrisons for £1.50. To get shoppers in the mood, B&M posted a photo of the confectionary on social media and said: "We're just going to present this without comment and let you make your own decisions! In-stores now at £1.50."

The 125g festive bar is proving to be a real hit, as shoppers say they can't wait to try it. "Omg they are so delicious," one fan commented, while another said: "That's a cracking idea of a bar," and a third chimed: "LOVE it!! had a bar already!!! Not all at once though."

Cadbury also announced the arrival of the new chocolate bar on their website and said: "NEW Cadbury Creme Egg Bar! Creamy Cadbury milk chocolate on the outside, goo-ey fondant filling on the inside. The perfect treat this Easter season."

Eagled-eyed fans also spotted that this isn't the first time we've seen a Creme Egg bar from the company. Cadbury previously released a limited edition Dairy Milk bar oozing with Creme Egg fondant in Australia.

It comes after fans were left devastated when Cadbury axed the much-loved Peanut Caramel Crisp Bar that was launched in 2017. The popular chocolate combined gooey caramel with crunchy nuts and puffed crispies. It was noticed by a chocolate fan named Amy, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter to ask the official Cadbury account if it was still sold.

Amy, among other fans, were shocked to find out a spokesperson revealed the beloved bar had been discontinued in November 2023. They said: "Peanut Caramel Crisp Bars have been discontinued. However, we still have lots of other chocolatey treats to try." However, fans fumed that the bar had been axed as one person commented: "Cadbury's Peanut Caramel Crisp is the best chocolate bar they have created in years."
