Golfer Brooks Koepka and his wife Jena Sims celebrated seeing in the New Year with some cheeky celebrations at a wedding party in Mexico on Sunday night.

The golfer was caught on camera holding sparklers near his wife's chest as they celebrated the arrival of midnight - with them posted across social media. Jena, 35, then shared a bold post on Instagram showing Brooks holding her breast with the caption: 'New year, same us,' posted to her story.

The couple had travelled to Mexico for a wedding and partied into the night to welcome the new year, with the American golfing star enjoying himself after impressive year including winning the PGA Championship and just missing out on The Masters after finishing second at Augusta.

Koepka was one of many to shock the golfing world in 2022 when he left the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf as he was given a huge contract - with many brandishing him as a 'sell out' before the PGA suspended him.

However, he could be set to return to the tour with them in discussions with LIV on a potential merger since surprising news emerged in June last year that the two rivals were planning to unite.

Despite an initial deadline on December 31, an agreement has not yet been reached and the deadline has been extended to April - around the time of the Masters. Koepka, who has never won at Augusta but was a two-time runner-up in 2019 and 2023, is still waiting for a win.

Their son was born six weeks early in July and spent the first three weeks of his life in intensive care before they could bring him home. At the time, Sims shared on Instagram: "Leaving hospital without your baby is something I wish for no one. It's the hardest thing we've ever done."

She added: "We've been visiting him as much as possible, and I know he's in the absolutely best care.' Meanwhile, Brooks faces an interesting year ahead in golf. The 33 year old American is part of the Saudi-backed rebel breakaway LIV Golf tour."
