Katie Price makes surprise announcement as she parties with old foe Kerry Katona

Katie Price and Kerry Katona had a wild New Year's Eve celebration together, seemingly burying any past feuds and looking to the future together.

Katie, who was previously on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! with Kerry in 2004, teased fans about their plans earlier in the day, telling her Instagram followers she was excited to "spend new year with my longest bestie ever".

She then revealed the identity of her 'longest bestie ever' and posted a video of the party, which included her daughter Princess, Kerry and Kerry's daughter Heidi. The two stars and their offspring also video-called Kerry's oldest daughter Molly, who was celebrating elsewhere.

Kerry and Katie's reunion comes just over a year on from Kerry admitting she wasn't very close to her old campmate as she dismissed claims she was set to be Katie's bridesmaid at her next wedding.

"I highly doubt it - I wish her all the best - but I've never met Carl. People have this impression that me and Katie are like bosom buddies, I live up north she lives down south," Kerry explained as she shot down the idea of accompanying Katie down the aisle again, like she did when the mum-of-five married ex-Peter Andre.

Speaking with the Daily Star, Kerry added in October 2022: "I have no idea what goes in her life. We may send the odd text every now and then but that's about it." However, it seems the two women have forged a closer relationship since then, with the pair reuniting to ring in the new year together on Sunday night.

During the video shared by Katie on New Year's Eve, the star's eldest daughter Princess wished everyone a happy new year and good luck for the coming year. Then Katie surprised fans by announcing that she is now single. It's unclear when Katie broke up with her most recent boyfriend, Carl Woods - if she even has at all, with previously calling off their engagement multiple times over recent months.

In November, Katie had to deny rumours that they had split after they reportedly unfollowed each other on social media. Later that month, she confirmed on Vicky Pattison's podcast The Secret To... that they were still together.

Katie Price has hinted that she might consider getting married again, despite her previous marriages to Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and Kieran Hayler. She said: "I would get married again. Normally I get married so quickly, but I've been with Carl three years, nearly three and a half years. We've had our ups, we've had our downs everything a relationship does."
