When Marley & Me hit the big screen 16 years ago, it was Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston who were flagged as the main stars.

However, one child actor won plaudits for his brilliant performance alongside the Hollywood duo in the tearjerker. Ben Hyland was just five years old when he starred as Conor in the flick. The floppy haired boy played the part of Jennifer and Owen's son in the movie about a couple who adopted a dog prior to the birth of their children.

Now 21, Ben looks completely different, with his flowing locks making way for darker curls. His shorter style and bearded look was noticeable on his LinkedIn profile which listed his other successes too. Following his appearance on Marley & Me, Ben starred in a number of other high-profile productions.

One popular performance came in Morning Show alongside Jon Hamm. She admitted following the production she was "from the olden days". Jennifer made the admission while speaking to Variety in an interview.

She also explained how her character in the production is a "bad picker" when it comes to relationships. She elaborated: "Maybe we’ll find out why she has such a bad picker. It’s hard to be a really successful woman and make that part of your life — it’s sort of the last thing on your to-do list. You’re busy doing so many other things in the world, which is why I think I failed so terribly at marriage."
