1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton says she's 'so proud' as she drops two dress sizes

Tammy, 37, has recently lost a whopping 269lbs (20 stone). Her weight loss journey has been documented on the hit TLC show 1000-lb Sisters, alongside her younger sister Amy.

Fans of the show also keep up to date with Tammy's goings-on via social media, which has meant the reality star has amassed a huge following online.

And in a bid to keep her loyal legion of fans in the loop with her ongoing weight loss success, Tammy took to TikTok this weekend to gush over how "proud" she is to have dropped two dress sizes.

"I’m so excited that I’m losing weight. I’m so proud of myself," she captioned the short video on the social media platform. In the video, Tammy could be seen talking about some clothes she had been sent, with her excited over how the smaller size of a top would now fit her.

She explained how she had planned on giving the smaller size top to her brother, but then revealed that she quite fancied keeping it for herself. "That's a 1X and that'll fit me," she gushed, adding: "I used to be in a 3X and now I'm not."

Fans were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: "We are so proud of you, Tammy!!" Another then said: "You’re looking so good! Congratulations on your weight loss! keep going!"

"Way to go Tammy..I've been watching your journey from the beginning and I'm so happy to see where you've come. keep it you deserve it," added a third. A fourth then penned: "Girly I’m so proud of you!! Been watching since the beginning, I love seeing your mental growth and improvement!"

And a fifth person added: "You are doing amazing Tammy!! I also see no oxygen?? That’s great!!"

When Tammy and Amy's hit reality TV show started back in 2020, Tammy weighed 605 pounds. She then gained more weight and ended up weighing 717 pounds. And now, following her body transformation, Tammy weighs 448 pounds (as of August 4, 2023).

At her maximum weight, Amy weighed 406 pounds but after bariatric surgery in 2019, she dropped 176 pounds.
