Gypsy Rose Blanchard has already found herself the subject of some internet beef mere days after she was released from prison.
In an Instagram post just before midnight on Friday, the famous felon, who was convicted of orchestrating the death of her mother in 2015, highlighted a screenshot she had taken of a Facebook account that appeared to be mimicking her own, which bore the name "Gypsy Rose — Anderson."
"WARNING! Watch out for fake Gypsy accounts like this one. My instagram is verified and I am working on verification on my other social media," the real Gypsy wrote, imploring her fans to report fake accounts they see. "Please be mindful of what accounts you see and follow and report any suspicious or fake accounts. Thank you."

Gypsy, 32, was sentenced to 10 years for second-degree murder for having her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, kill her medically abusive mother, who suffered from factitious disorder imposed on another, previously known as Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

That meant Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard made up several diseases and told others that Gypsy had them, even getting doctors to issue prescriptions for maladies — including epilepsy, leukemia and a chromosomal disorder — she never had, then using those to scam charities out of thousands as they sent the "happy" mother-daughter duo to Disney and even built their house in Missouri after Hurricane Katrina destroyed their Louisiana home.
Godejohn is currently serving life without the possibility of parole for first-degree murder, as he was the one who stabbed Dee Dee to death in her sleep. Gypsy served around eight years of her decade-long sentence and was released on parole on Wednesday.

During her time in prison, she amassed a large social media following, becoming an unlikely celebrity after documentaries and TV shows aired about what had happened to her.
The fake Facebook account had already amassed nearly 6,000 followers on Facebook before Gypsy found it and reported it. The "about" section said: "My Greatest Blessing Is My Husband And Family."
The profile photo on the account was the mirror selfie she posted on Friday morning featuring her wearing the outfit she donned to go shoe shopping with her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, on Thursday just hours after her release.

Gypsy's post about the fake account garnered nearly 940,000 likes in just 11 hours, and thousands of people commented to express their support for her or poke fun at what had happened.
One user, @salonj.raine, wrote: "You literally have an army of girlies standing behind you. We love you. Do not play with Gypsy." The comment achieved nearly 15,000 likes. Another hilarious user, @sabrinar05, wrote: "fresh out of prison and already got internet beef." That comment got over 36,000 likes.
Others offered support as well, saying they'd fight the fake accounts or do anything to protect Gypsy, saying they have her back.

The post comes just hours after Gypsy shared a pic of her and her stepsister, Mia, as they celebrated her release from prison. "Sister love," the pic was captioned, adding a double pink heart emoji. It amassed nearly 2 million likes as commenters praised her sister for hosting the shindig.
"Welcome Home" was spelled out on balloons behind the happy siblings as other party decorations were seen in the space.

On Thursday, Gypsy was photographed with her husband, Ryan, as the two went shoe shopping at an Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse outside of Kansas City, Missouri, which is just southwest of where Gypsy was imprisoned.
The next morning, she posted the mirror selfie, taken from their hotel room seemingly just before the couple were seen out and about. It features Gypsy in a white and blue shirt with stylishly ripped and woven sleeves and a front pocket and jeans, with her hair in a messy ponytail draped over her shoulder as two strands of hair hang from the sides of her face.
