Sam Thompson shares Christmas snap sparking engagement rumours to Zara McDermott
I'm A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson has sparked rumours that his relationship with girlfriend Zara McDermott might have reached a new milestone.
The couple, who have been dating since 2019, have shared a sweet Christmas snap to Instagram as they posed in front of their Christmas tree. Yet this festive picture hasn't just shown the couple in their Christmas Day outfits, as due to Zara hiding her hand and her ring finger its left fans wondering if Sam could have popped the question and proposed to Zara.
Sam shared the snap of the happy couple to his Instagram, as he wrote: "Beautiful day with a beautiful person".

However other fans flooded the comment sections praising the couple for the sweet looking snap, as one wrote: "This looks like an AI generated photo cus it’s so perfect". Another wrote: "Absolutely stunning, gorgeous and just beautiful. Merry Christmas to such a beautiful couple xxxxx". A third shared: "Oh stop look at you both. hope you both had the best Christmas". A fourth wrote: "How gorgeous are you two! x".

Fans have been guessing if the couple might end this year with an engagement (PA)The couple may have been together for four years, but when Sam knew he was entering the jungle for this year's I'm A Celebrity he chose to take best mate Pete Wicks as his support over girlfriend Zara. Zara told Hits Radio Breakfast show host Fleur East: "When I left Strictly I was like, 'Shall I pack my case?' and he went, 'Oh no it’s already been arranged, Pete is coming!' When I suggested maybe Pete and I could both go, he said, 'No, just Pete!'" She then joked: "You know what? It’s fine, absolutely fine."
She added: "I’ve got all the time in the world to live with him and see him. He want’s Pete at the end of that bridge and I respect it.” And in a separate Instagram post she explained to fans: "Pete is going [to Australia ]. We've had a few laughs and jokes about this. But in all seriousness; Sam thought I was still going to be in Strictly (bless him, the optimism), so Pete cleared his whole diary for 2/3 weeks to be there."
