Love Island and Made In Chelsea stars leading richest UK reality personalities
A surprising duo have topped a rich list of reality star couples in the UK - which features TV hosts, dance stars, and presenters.
Several high-profile duos have been brought together via reality TV on shows including Strictly Come Dancing, Love Island and Made In Chelsea. The stars have managed to capitalise on their own wealth - and improve on it by forcing their way onto social media and TV slots as a pair.
The MailOnline has claimed to have crunched some numbers to deduce which of these celebrity pairings have made the most money since they first got together. And while many might expect Love Island stars to top the list, it is a pair of podcasters that have reached the top spot.
But that’s not to say that Islanders haven’t made a dent in the rich list chart - as many of the top Top 9 Reality TV Rich List are formed of contestants from the hit ITV2 show. And here is a rundown of the top nine, as claimed by the outlet.
Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page
In the number nine slot are Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page - who met on Love Island in 2022 during season eight of the show.
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and TanyelThe series brought 25-year-old Tasha and 28-year-old Andrew together. They entered the villa on Day 1 and made it all the way to the final - but they didn’t win, and instead landed in fourth place. That hasn’t, however, held them back from making money since debuting on the reality show.
And the Mail’s list claims the couple are now worth £1 million - helped, in part, by the fact that they often share amusing video clips of themselves together via social media. After featuring on the show, Tasha also became eBay’s first-ever pre-loved fashion ambassador.
Zara McDermott and Sam Thompson
Ahead of them at number eight are fellow Love Island star Zara McDermott and her Made In Chelsea boyfriend Sam Thompson. The pair met after 31-year-old Sam ‘slid into the DMs’ of 27-year-old Zara and asked her out on a date.
The pair have been through some ups and downs together - with Zara admitting she cheated on Sam early in their relationship. But they have gone on to strengthen their romance - and often make amusing clips of themselves on social media.
The pair are worth a reported £1.3 million - but this looks set to change after Zara’s star power increased this year as she was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and Sam won ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Indeed, some reports have suggested Sam can now command higher prices for featuring products via his social media posts and could rake in millions with projects and presenting jobs.
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti
More Love Island stars feature at the number seven spot - with 2022 show winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti.
The couple featured on the same season as Tasha and Andrew - but won the series together, which saw them net the £50,000 prize. But both stars have been raking in fortunes since they won the show - and have even survived a brief split and seem to be stronger together than ever.
The couple are worth a reported £2.6 million - with 29-year-old Ekin-Su raking in huge fees for modelling jobs with brands including OhPolly and BCosmetics. They have also featured on Ekin Su & Davide: Homecomings alongside 28-year-old Davide - and Ekin-Su will soon feature on the USA version of The Traitors.
