Celebrations were recently crowned Brits' favourite Christmas chocolate.

And now the big day is now only three days away, people across the nation have already begun tucking into their festive treats. Whether you're a Cadbury Roses lover, have a penchant for Ferrero Rocher, or can't resist a Quality Street dunked in your cuppa - Christmas is the perfect excuse to gorge on your fave choccies.

But, the next time you open up a box of Celebrations to share (or not) with your friends and family - you may see the logo in a whole new light, as it turns out, there's a hidden meaning behind it.

Channel 4's The Secret World of Christmas Chocolate 'unwraps the naughty and nice stories of our favourite Christmas chocolates and their annual battle to reign supreme'. Narrated by Jo Brand, the popular series interviews chocolate boses from around the world to spill the tea.

Michelle Frost, General manager of Mars, told the presenter that Celebrations were almost called a completley different name. If the company didn't agree on Celebrations, you'd be picking up a box of Jamboree this year.

"But Celebrations just summed up the occasion that we wanted people to use this product for," she added. The chocolate boss then revealed how the brand ended creating the iconic logo.

"We came up with this idea of using the logos from the brand, as part of the Celebrations," Frost said. "So the 'b' is the b that you see on Bounty, and the 's' is the s from the Mars bar.

"Not many people realise as they've got so used to seeing that as the Celebrations logo they don't really know how it started." Did you know that - or are you as baffled as we are?
