Daytime TV fans are in for a treat as it's business as usual with all the ITV favourites putting on festive Christmas Day specials.

This Morning will be on our screens as normal and it will be on at the regular time of 10am as ITV announce what we've got coming up on Monday. Usually the festive programme include a performance and a quiz but fans have been left guessing about the hosts with the slow slightly shorter than normal.

Josie Gibson, Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary, Craig Doyle and Rylan Clark have been presenting on rotation in recent months. Bosses are keen to end 2023 with a bang after the most difficult year in the show's history following to Philip Schofield scandal and Holly Willoughby's decision to walk away. For the past four years hosts they have delivered a special two hour and ITV will pull out all the stops after a tumultuous time.

The day kicks off with Good Morning Britain from 7am and we know Susanna Reid won't be live from the studio after she announced she will be taking a break from the show over the Christmas period. As usual, GMB runs for two hours and will be packed full of festive features.

Lorraine has a history of bringing out the big guns for her Christmas shows. Stars like Craig David and Emeli Sande have performed in recent years and fans are waiting to see if she pulled out the stops again. At midday, Christmas Morning with James Martin takes over for two hours, before Ainsley's Festive Flavours takes us into the King's speech.

It looks like it's all change for ITV in 2024. Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley appear to have won the race to land big-money deals and become the new faces of This Morning. The new duo are understood to be earning £550,000 each a year and a source told The Sun: “This is one of the most coveted gigs in UK television. ITV execs are determined to get it right.

"Cat really impressed when she came in, and Ben is a consummate professional and hugely popular with the housewife demographic. He’s an extremely safe pair of hands, has real gravitas, and doesn’t have a whiff of scandal around him - Cat is the number one target to replace Holly, but negotiations are ongoing."
